Community At The Heart Of St Helens In The Park

On Tuesday and Wednesday we welcomed some of the Y5/Y6 children from Hackness and Wykeham Church of England Schools Federation to St Helens in the Park to learn all about our Solar Project ☀️
They had the chance to see the solar panels up close and even touch them, while Simon talked them through how much power we generate, why we installed them, and what it all means for the park.
They also got a behind-the-scenes look inside the inverter room, where the DC power is converted into AC and distributed across the site ⚡️
It’s always really special to play a part in our local community, and we loved having the children here to bring their classroom learning to life in such a hands-on way 😀
